SQUEAKY TOY

the squeaky toy may
seem it would be
an annoyance – like sharp
screams from the
alarm clock a
faucet that leaks but instead it
brings soundness of mind – I know
where my dog is not messing
the floor it brings comfort, a
sweep of security – like the
thrum of a new
baby breathing.
