The clown found below has now become a fixture on my Tucson desk at work, thanks to mom lovingly sending it all the way from Michigan since it would not fit in my suitcase. The box she sent contained, also lovingly, contained a hideous mini-mask that we found in the basement jumble of junk, agreed it was hideous, and then I stuffed it in her shoe.
While I am still unclear of the fate of the hideous mini-mask, the broken clown jack-in-the-box is having a grand time peering over the cubicle at my editor. I would face the clown at me but they seem to terrify me, especially since serial killers are known to dress like them and lurk on the edge of New Jersey woods.
